Today is Tuesday, it’s our 2nd to last night in Bangkok, so it’s off to Jack’s Bar to catch the sunset over the river. Love watching the amazing eclectic variety of river traffic.

Jack’s is hidden behind the Shangri-La hotel. There’s no air-con and you’ll have to arrive early if you want a rickety riverside perch. You’ll find this drinking den of the old-school variety—flexing plastic chairs, classic Thai stir-fries and ice-cold beer.
