Beacon Hill Park on a clear and cold morning. The Giant sequoia (Sequoiadendron giganteum) located on Circle Drive across from the Children’s Farm is looking particularly golden this morning. It is the most photographed, admired and climbed tree in the park and was planted in 1913.

The peacocks and hens are trying to soak up as much of the sun as they can.
