It was a perfect day to take drive to Pedder Bay. There is a great marina out there to grab a coffee & muffin or even a cold beer if it suits you.
It’s a very pleasant 34km amble west and south from Victoria though the patchwork of hobby farms throughout Metchosin.
This one of Joe’s favorite spots to go on a warm afternoon. The action is hectic at times as the sport fishermen bring in their lucky catch. A 25lb halibut here or a 20lb salmon there. Some days they are in abundance.
The resident seals, seagulls along with the frequent bald eagle make for a busy scavenger scrum.
